My Story
I do not believe in branding that only changes the skin. I believe in branding that communicates value, builds trust, and gives a business the clarity to grow with credibility. Over the years,
I have seen smart companies pour effort into marketing, design, and visibility, yet still fail to be understood in the right way.
The problem is rarely effort alone. More often, the brand is signalling the wrong value, telling the wrong story, or lacking the clarity needed to earn trust in the market.
That is where I do my best work.
Over 15 years, I have helped more than 60 brands across FMCG, healthcare, retail, tech, and finance build sharper, more credible positioning,
from S.Pellegrino, Samsung, and Charles & Keith to ambitious Indonesian and Singapore businesses ready to grow across borders. I have delivered 70+ keynotes and workshops, including 3 keynotes at the Indonesia Retail Summit, one of Southeast Asia’s largest retail conferences, and served as juror for the Constantinus International Award (consulting, Europe) and TISDC Taiwan International (design).
I help leaders and brands uncover what is not working, sharpen what matters, and build a brand people can understand, believe in, and choose. My work sits at the intersection of brand strategy, business judgment, cultural intelligence, and human insight. Especially when brands are growing across borders, I have seen how easily meaning can be lost when what works in one market is carried into another without enough thought, sensitivity, or strategic adaptation.
I have worked with founders, CEOs, and business leaders across Singapore, Indonesia, and beyond, helping them navigate growth, reposition with confidence, and build brands that are not only visible, but genuinely respected. Whether I am advising a company entering a new market, coaching a leader whose personal brand must evolve alongside the business, or speaking to an audience about cross cultural branding and brand clarity, my role is ultimately the same: to bring clarity where there is noise, and truth where there is assumption.
I grew up between Singapore and Indonesia, and that cross-cultural fluency is not something I studied — it is how I see the world.
I care deeply about building brands that matter, not just brands that look good.
To me, good branding should not stop at identity. It should help a business express its value more clearly, align what it says with what it truly delivers, and create stronger connection, trust, and relevance in the minds of the people it wants to serve.
AI can generate content faster.
But it cannot read a room, challenge a founder, decode cultural nuance, or make a brand credible where it counts. That still takes human judgment, conviction, and experience.
I am an international brand consultant, speaker, educator, and co author of Are You Brand Dead? I am also the co-founder of Creativeans, a brand and design consultancy with offices in Singapore, Milan, and Jakarta, where I have spent 15 years helping brands and business leaders grow across markets and categories. Beyond titles, what I really do is help businesses and leaders become clearer, stronger, and harder to ignore for the right reasons.
